Join Students Around the Globe for Special Programming

CILC hosts an array of events for students and learners of all ages, ranging from a single day to a full month. Unlike the normal programming provided by our Content Providers, these events are open to anywhere from a few hundred students to more than 30,000. Our mission is to bring the world to your classroom, and never is that more true than during these special events.

Date: March 2, 2023 (event date); March 6–10, 2023 (collaboration dates)
Description of Offering: One collaboration event and one week of collaborative projects

Earth Day
Date: April 22 (or nearest week day for celebration)
Description of Offering: One day of programming hosted by Mermaids; seven programs

World Ocean Day
Date: June 8 (or nearest week day for celebration)

National Distance Learning Week
Date: November (first week)
Description of Offering: One program per day; five programs
Estimated Attendance: 4,000 students
